Het Service Center in Apeldoorn heeft een gratis afstelavond op donderdag 5 juli. Vanaf 18:30 uur kunt u bij ons binnenrijden met de motorfiets. Terwijl u geniet van een kop koffie of iets anders, zal een van onze specialisten de vering van uw motorfiets optimaal afstellen op uw rijgedrag en advies geven over de vering. Vooraf aanmelden is voor het afstellen niet nodig.

Hyperpro supports Valerie Thompson, with products on her recordbike, BMW S1000RR 

Two-Time Land Speed Record Holder Sets Personal Best Top Speed of 209.5 mph

(Scottsdale, AZ) – June 8, 2012 – Valerie Thompson, owner/driver of the Valerie Thompson Land Speed Racing Team, joined an elite group of “Mojave Magnum 200 MPH Club” members at this premier event when she piloted her Martech Services Company BMW to a top speed of 209.5 mph over the new 1.5-mile course on June 2 in Mojave California, reportedly making it the world’s fastest production BMW S1000RR. Teammate Bob Sellers recorded a top speed of 219.5 mph on his Suzuki Hayabusa.

“Co-Crew Chiefs Ray Garcia and Bob Sellers were key in setting up my BMW at the Mojave Magnum Speed Trials. Our bike was really flying,” said Thompson. “We achieved one of the team objectives by gaining entry into the ‘Mojave Magnum 200 MPH Club’. My next goal is to become a member of the famed ‘200 MPH Club’ at the Bonneville Salt Flats,” added Thompson.

“I’m honored to help Valerie’s independent team in achieving this accomplishment. Valerie and her team have worked hard with limited resources to gain optimal results,” said Sellers. “Valerie’s driving was ‘top notch’ and the BMW really responded to our special set up for this competition. I can’t imagine what we could accomplish with a little more sponsorship funding,” added Sellers.

The premiere running of Mojave Magnum was held at the Air & Space Port in Mojave California. The venue is famous for it’s Mojave Mile events, a standing start one-mile speed trial. The Mojave Magnum event was the first time competitors could race a section of runway exactly one and a half miles in length.

Valerie Thompson Background

Thompson is owner/driver of the Valerie Thompson Land Speed Racing Motorcycle Team. She currently holds two land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats. In addition to land speed racing, Thompson has competed in the All Harley Drag Racing Association & National Hot Rod Association series. Thompson was recently selected to test pilot the North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger designed to eclipse the 512 mph land speed record set by Kitty O’Neil in 1976. Hyperpro en Premium Motors, dé Motorsuper, starten samen Hyperpro Service Center Apeldoorn (Premium motors). Premium is in 2012 geboren vanuit pure passie voor motorrijden. Een jong bedrijf dus, maar dan wel met 25 jaar ervaring in de persoon van oprichter Carol Mulder. Als succesvol coureur en ervaren in- en verkoper van motoren kent hij de branche als geen ander. Premium is gevestigd in Apeldoorn, dus centraal gelegen in Nederland. In het ruime pand van Premium staan volop jong gebruikte motorfietsen, kritisch geselecteerd en klaar voor verkoop.

Naast motorfietsen, neemt ook motoZoom deel in het unieke motorconcept als grootste winkel van Nederland op het gebied van motorkleding en -toebehoren.

Uniek is dat deze “motorzaak” (ook de werkplaats!) op werkdagen geopend is van 10.00 uur tot 21.00 uur. Dus … altijd open als het jou uitkomt!

RSZ-M geeft met de Endurance Cup daarmee dus tevens een vervolg aan eerder door ZAC georganiseerde lange afstandraces. Tijdens alle evenementen zijn er twee trainingsessies en een kwalificatiesessie van 20 minuten en één race, verdeeld in twee manches van elk 60 minuten. De resultaten van de twee manches worden na afloop samengevoegd om de uitslag van de wedstrijd te bepalen. Elke wedstrijddag worden er punten vergeven die meetellen voor het eindklassement. Kosten voor deelname zijn in verhouding met het bekende ZAC-tarief. Een team betaalt gemiddeld € 420 aan inschrijfgeld.

RSZ Motorsport partner Hyperpro uit Werkendam heeft zich wederom als sponsor aan de ZomerAvondCompetitie verbonden door de nieuwe Endurance Cup te adopteren. Jan Belder van Hyperpro reageerde enthousiast op dit initiatief “afgelopen jaar hebben wij al een vruchtbare samenwerking gehad door ons te verbinden aan de ZomerAvondCompetie 2011. Nu RSZ-M ook nog de endurance-sport aan zich verbindt, is het voor Hyperpro nog interessanter om de banden wat steviger aan te trekken. Hyperpro heeft zich de afgelopen jaren in het buitenland al meerdere malen tijdens de endurance-races laten gelden. Kortom, wij zijn blij en trots bij dit Nederlandse initiatief volop mee te kunnen doen. Zoals van Hyperpro gewoon, zullen wij op de circuits en de service centers de rijder met raad en daad terzijde staan om hem/haar op elk niveau verder te helpen op het gebied van vering en dus met betere rondetijden. Wij hebben er zin in!”

Rodney has been 1,006 ft on the front wheel and Jesse has been 1,148 ft. Together they have won and podium finished in all 7 major Pro Long Distance Endo competitions in the U.S in 2011. For 2012 Rodney was already placed 3rd at the first 2 Pro Long Endo competitions on his back up bike, which is a 2004 Kawasaki 636 ZX-6R. This is the purpose for the GSX-R 1000 we are building now; to win every event and break records.

We will be attempting to break a Guinness Book World record for speed AND distance on the front wheel of both of these motorcycles this fall.
The goal now is to run (2) Hyperpro’s on each bike, one in the stock GSX-R mounting location and the other up top on the Upper triple clamp so head shake is eliminated completely. We will be traveling at speeds over 140mph on the front wheel, for our goal of 1,320ft (1/4 mile).

We met both Jesse and Rodney at the Dealerexpo in Indianapolis and are happy to support the guys with their goals. as Rodney says “But this is why we traveled to Indy, to meet and talk about the HyperPro products on our bikes. We truly believe the product to be far superior to all of the rest of the dampers on the market. We want to set World Records and we want to do it using Hyperpro dampers.”

On some shows we displayed a F800GS with a heigt adjustment. People were able to test themselves to see if they could fit the bike they wanted instead of looking for a bike they fitted on, but wasn’t the one the preferred. We showed a height adjustment of -3 cm’s to -8 cm’s by changing only the springs or with -8 cm’s with a shock..
Also the Streetbox was presented, the all in one concept with forksprings, emulsion shock. On avererage it was clear to all visitors that changing the suspension is big deal in improvement of the rideability of the bike and doesn’t cost a fortune! And of course we showed our high end shock line up with 463 full adjustable shock with rebound and high/low compression adjustmen and hydraulic preload.
